What are the mentors like? How will you choose my mentor?
Girls Rock! mentors are talented climbers and inspiring women. They are chosen for their commitment to working with girls, building community, and their experience teaching, listening, and supporting others – especially young people. Mentors and girls will be paired up by the PNW staff after the ropes course orientation, so that we can try to make the best match for you.

How does transportation work?
We have several options to help you get to our program. We can pick you up at your school, or you can meet us at our office in the Central District after school lets out. Let us know if you need to be picked up at home – we will work something out!

What will the outdoor weekend be like?
You will travel to Vantage, Washington to try outdoor climbing. You’ll get to explore a popular climbing destination, cook outside, sleep under the stars, and build community and courage with your mentor and fellow Girls Rock! participants.
