Rock Climbing
Do you want to climb in the desert at one of the most beautiful climbing destinations in the Northwest? Come check out Smith Rock in Eastern Oregon. You’ll learn how to climb and belay, camp in a desert environment, relax at swimming holes, and have fun exploring your creativity.
Ages Girls entering grades 6-8
Dates June 21 - 29 or August 8 - 13

Sea Kayaking and Rock Climbing
Learn to paddle, navigate with chart and compass, and perform kayak rescue skills while exploring the waters of South Puget Sound. Then, trade your kayaks for climbing gear and head to Mt. Erie for several days of climbing while overlooking the San Juan Islands and Olympic Mountains. This course is a great way to try out new skills, meet new people, and get out and explore the Northwest!

Rock Climbing and Backpacking
Looking for an adventure that has it all? This trip lets you check out rock climbing as well as backpacking. Your journey begins by heading to Olympic National Park where you’ll learn to low-impact camp, navigate with map and compass, and challenge yourself to carry everything you need in a backpack while laughing with your new friends. The adventure continues as you head to Mt. Erie for a few days of rock climbing while enjoying views of the gorgeous San Juan Islands.

Backpacking
Imagine this…everything you need for several days is contained in the packs that you and your friends carry on your backs as you explore the breathtaking wilderness of Olympic National Park. You’ll learn about map and compass navigation, outdoor cooking skills, and low-impact backcountry camping. You’ll also have plenty of time to play and explore, while learning about yourself and your creativity.

Rock Climbing for Queer, Questioning, and Allied Girls
Interested in getting outdoors with a group of girls who are queer, questioning their sexual orientation, or allies to queer folk? Learn to climb and belay at Mt. Erie, camp and hike in and around Deception Pass, Washington, and explore identity and community in a fun, supportive environment.

Dates August July 16 - 21
Tuition $650
Leadership and Backpacking
Explore social and environmental issues with other young activists while simultaneously building a community and learning to work together in a wilderness environment. Learn what makes great leaders and support the leader in you! This course will incorporate backpacking and a service project and is geared toward girls who want to make a difference in their communities.
