SUMMER ADVENTURES

Rock Smith Rock! Rock Climbing at Smith Rock
Do want to have an amazing adventure in the sunshine and beauty of the desert? How about learning to rock climb or improving your climbing skills with other girls? Then come to gorgeous Eastern Oregon with Passages Northwest and try out new things!

Ages Girls entering grades 7-9
Dates June 22 - 28
Tuition Sliding scale $50 - $1,000. Pay what you can.

Backpacking the Olympic Coast for Queer and Allied Girls
Come together with other girls who are queer, questioning their sexual orientation, or an ally wanting to support a queer or questioning person close to them. During this course you can ask tough questions and have your voice heard while making new friends in the beauty of the Olympic National Park coast.

Dates June 23 - 29

Leadership & Service in the North Cascades- Rock Climbing and Backpacking (2 courses)
Are you looking for a challenge? Are you committed to serving your community? Join other like-minded young women as you develop your leadership skills, support yourselves in the back country, and work to change the world for the better, together. You'll have an adventure rock climbing and backpacking your way through the North Cascades National Park while learning about yourself, others, and the world around you.

Course 1 Ages Young women in grades 10-12 or Post HS
Dates July 6 - 17

Course 2 Ages Young women in grades 9-12
Dates July 22 - August 2

Tuition For Both Courses Sliding scale $50 - $1,400. Pay what you can.

Find Yourself and Go There: Backpacking at the Olympic Coast
Discover your strengths and talk about your identity while heading out to Olympic National Park with a group of new friends. Start at Lake Ozette and hike to the Pacific Ocean to enjoy several days of magnificent views on the coast. Time to think and walk can change everything! This is an opportunity not to be missed.

Rock Climbing at Mt Erie
Join us near the San Juan Islands and catch some incredible views while learning great outdoor skills. Scale Mt. Erie in the morning and hang at the beach as the sun sets. Join your new friends to challenge yourselves, try new things, explore natural beauty, and learn about the world around you.

SUMMER DAY ADVENTURES

Day Adventures: Seattle and Beyond
Get the benefits of some sweet outdoor activities while enjoying the comforts of your home at night. Each day, come to Passages Northwest in the morning for a new and adventure, and at the end of the day go home to sleep in your own bed! From rock climbing at Exit 38 to adventures in Discovery Park and on Lake Washington, each fun-filled day will be different and more exciting than the one before. This is a great week for girls who want to make new friends and have some outdoor adventures.

Dates July 27 - 31
Tuition Sliding scale $25 - $450. Pay what you can.

A Summer Day of Rock Climbing
Spend a fun day at a nearby rock climbing area near Snoqualmie Pass where beginners and experienced climbers can all be challenged. It will be a great opportunity to try rock climbing for the first time or get in some practice. Hang out with friends and meet new people at the beautiful Exit 38 Climbing Area!

Ages Girls entering grades 6 and up
Dates July 1
Tuition Sliding scale $25 - $75. Pay what you can.

Day at Mt. Rainier
Want to have fun with new and old friends during the last days of summer break? How does a day trip to Mt. Rainier sound? This adventure is open to all Passages Northwest participants.

Ages Open to all alumnae and guests
Dates August 15
Tuition Sliding scale $5-35. Pay what you can.

Parent/Daughter Sea Kayak
Looking for a fun time with an important adult in your life? You can spend the day together paddling around on Lake Washington while we teach you everything you need to know to feel safe and comfortable on the water. What a perfect, relaxing place to build your relationship!

Ages Girls entering grades 5 and up
Dates August 22
Tuition Sliding scale $25 - 250/pair. Pay what you can.

We’ve lowered our Summer Program prices for 2009!
Course registration is on a first-come, first served basis.
Gear, transportation, and food are included in tuition.
Programs start and end at our offices in Seattle at 139 23rd Ave S.
